Like walking in waist-high water,
skimming the surface with my fingertips.
As the performer walks the listener senses
motion in the sound as well.
The cascading overtone production
glides over the rooted fundamental tone
like a river moving past:
always changing; yet remaining the same.

One can listen on multiple levels
through the consideration of not only
the fundamental harmonic content,
but also the parallel phantom composition
generated by dense overtones.
The hyper-extended partials projected
from various angles of pitch location
illuminate
complexly ambiguous harmonic spaces.
